I'm a newbie when it comes to this ICO spiel and have been really... wary. It's taken me a few weeks to get up to speed with all the crypto jargon and I've been pouring through so much information, joining telegrams, etc. I've been seeing a lot of hype for Cognida and wanted to do "due diligence". Was reading their white paper and came across a bit that really caught my attention:"providing HIPAA compliant information management and access services to the clinical trials market sector"...and so I read a bit further and one of the advisors is a project manager at Medinova. Great, but who or what is Medinova? I started googling and saw that Medinova has 75 research sites across the globe, working for all sorts of big pharma companies including Pfizer. Medinova has partnerships with the NHS too. From browsing through Medinova's website, it's blatantly clear that they're heavily involved with clinical trials. Seems legit. That brings us back to Cognida and the bit I quoted above. It seems like Cognida is a product being developed that is tailored for Medinova's needs, maybe even beyond. On Medinova's website in the "About Us" section, they have several bullet points that talks about various partnerships they've done over the years, but 'lo and behold, the latest one says:"2018 - Entered into a global strategic partnership with BTC Network"So in other words, Medinova jumped into the crypto world sometime this year, which I guess is where Cognida fits in. All of this seems too good to be true. Anyone else got a take on this? via /r/icocrypto https://ift.tt/2Mh9FPc
